Default Transmission question

Hi I have a 94 with 3.0l 5spd. This morning my transmission fluid dropped about 2". I have since topped it up but it will no longer allow me to shift without pumping the clutch for 2min. As alone as I let out the clutch I have to pump it again. I am lost and was hoping for a pointer.

Default Re: Transmission question

From what you are describing, it sounds like your brake fluid that operates your clutch has dropped, not the transmission fluid. Also, from what you are describing, it sounds like your slave cylinder has just about failed.

Yeah I topped up the fluid twice but it did not help. I was figuring it was the slave, hoping it wasn't. Thank-you.
