Quite a few on here have mentioned that front end failures occur if you install one in the front. The axle can't handle the stress of a locker or limited slip from what I've been told.

EDIT: It has also been said that finding a locker for the front is quite difficult these days too. There was a thread on it within the last month or so.

Yeah, i know driving with a locked front end would not be safe. Ive seen many standard L/S and the clutch pack still doesnt give the tire with traction enough torque to spin the tire. So, locker vs limited slip, i guess it depends all on what and where u drive for your preference.

It's the same thing as "don't drive on dry pavement in 4wd, it'll bind up and break something. But if you're gouna be wheelin and slipping alot, an E-locker or air-locker is fine. It has no effect when it's off.
