Default U-Joints in a 03..

So tomorrow I am replacing my u-joints, and was wondering if there is anything special needed to get the bolts out. I have sprayed them to hopefully loosen them up, but was wondering if they have like a loc-tite on them that needs to be heated to be removed. Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks, Ryan

No they dont have loc-tite on them but are you doing this with a press or ole socket n hammer method? I know on my 06 even with 60,000 miles and in KY, they were a BIT** to get out with the ole socket n hammer method. Ill never do it like that again ill tell you that. A press would def be your friend here but you can get away with socket n hammer just takes longer.

thanks man, i got it out today, and the u-joints felt perfect, so it's not my problem, sadly. Now i am back to the unknown vibration, must be a tire balance, again......

trust me when I got mine I battled the same issue foreverrrrrrrr. Now I just have my own different vibrations but I am body lifted with 33 MT's so I guess I cant complain about a shitty ride. But I will tell you these really dont even ride worse than my stock 235's that were badly wore uneven so that could def be your issue like some of mine was.

Yeah I thought tires was the problem, needed new ones so i replaced them with 265/70/16's (same height, just wider) and although they are a bit better, still vibrates. I am unsure how good the shop did on the balance so i am going to have it checked again sometime. Thanks for the reply's!

Forgot to add, this vibration I am chasing didn't change with the tire swap, still is the same, and hasn't changed from the 86,000km when I got it, to the 126,000 that are on it now.
