Default Bad Slave? Different symptoms than usual

Ok so Im just going to throw this out there incase someone has had this particular symptom...

So My 2004 with a 5 spd has been shifting hard like the slave cylinder is going except it started something odd, sometimes when you let the clutch pedal out for a split second the clutch doesnt reingage, resulting in a shift where its like i Just dropped the clutch, its been doing this randomly for over a year, and hasnt been consistant in any way...

So this morning start the truck up and the clutch feals odd, when depressed it wont go all the way down untill becoming firmer and having to apply lots of pressure. it willl not go into gear with truck running So i shut truck off, put in gear, start up, and you can feal it engaged slightly with pedal depressed, if you let clutch pedal out the clutch doesnt fully engage and slips, you can drive it and shift it once moving but the clutch slips really bad...

So would a bad slave cause the Clutch to not fully engage or could something be wrong with the clutch itself?

Ive already bled the clutch fluid untill clean and it isnt leaking any fluid that i can notice any where, peeking through the inspection plug its dry and appears in order.

Thanks for any ideas

I had a similar problem with a T-5 tranny, the collar the throw out bearing slides on was worn and throw out function was binding. Worst was letting clutch out slow, no go, then grabs like side-steping pedal. I changed the front trans collar and throw out assembly to fix the problem.

Great I was hoping id be simple, but the way it feals that would make sense, surprising though if that is it, the truck only has 60k miles
