Default rear drive line help

ok so i just bought an 86 2wd ranger, ext cab with a 5 speed, 2.9 v6. the slip yolk on the rear drive line is broken, did all the ranges from this era run one of these yolks or do i need to find another ext cab? what about the broncos did they have a slip yolk that would fit? im trying to do this the cheapest way possible. any help is greatly appreciated.
