Default brakes

ok, i know it sounds like i'm a complete moron... but i had heard a rattle coming from the driver side front, well i found the back brake pad on the driver side caliper had lost the clip so it was rattling around in the caliper. well i replaced the pads, and the clip. now it makes a screeching/scratching sound when i'm goin above about 20 mph. i was thinking it might be the clip contacting the rotor, but i put the clip in the right way. maybe a wheel bearing? i'm at a loss of ideas right now... any help/suggestions/ideas would be really helpful!

i'm gonna look at it today hopefully if i have time, but if anyone has any idea what it might be, so i can look for it, i would really appreciate it. i've already looked for rocks and such.

one way to check the wheel bearing. is to jack up the truck and see if there is any play in the tire grab the sides and try to wiggle and top and bottom

oh i know how to check the wheel bearing, i check them everytime i have the tire off, and i actually noticed that the wheel bearing was a little lose when i was doing the pads, so i tightened it up... i was just wondering if ya'll had any ideas of what it could be. if i get tweaked bad enough i may end up re-doing the whole driver side and passenger side with rotors, calipers, wheel bearings, etc... i'll try posting some pics up later tonight... i get done with class after 4 so hopefully i'll be able to look at it after that.
