Well I went outside today and checked underneath and found out that there is a lot of oil (not a lot but covered in) all around different parts like the torsion bar cover, transmission pan, and also the oil pan. I tried to find out where it could be coming from but it was too cold out side. I did see some drops underneath above the oil drain plug so maybe I just need to tighten it or something. Also the seal I see two small dots of trans fluid but nothing serious like spilling/dripping onto the pavement.

Definitely go back out in warmer temps and look again. The fluids can be thrown especially under bumpy conditions. As for the small leak from the tailshaft seal, this seal will never produce a large leak, as it's one of the higher points on the trans. Fluid flows downward faster then upwards, so you get the picture.

But should this fine under regular driving to and from work for this week? I might just go and take it to the mechanic and get it checked out since I'm not so good in this category. Usually me and my dad do this type of stuff together but he's away on work.

You'll be fine as long as your fluid levels are in range. If you're not dripping anything onto pavement, then you're not loosing that much fluid.

Well I did see like a small amount now and then on the pavement but not like a puddle of that stuff just small bit. So I would say I'm good until this weekend. I'll probably clean it up good with some Purple Power and then found the cause when it starts happening again.

When you go to look again. Spray everything down with brake cleaner, drive it some and look again. leak will spread and travel. Cleaning everything thing up first will help narrow down where to look. Brake cleaner dries fast and does a real good job of removing a lot of crap without having to do a lot of scrubbing.

Be sure to wear some old clothes while cleaning it off with brake cleaner.

Yup, you will be able to see where the leak is coming from once you clean it all off, wear gloves too!

Yep, you want everything as oil and dirt free as possible so you can see what is really leaking.

As a side note, keeping the engine bay clean in the first place makes vehicle work a lot less grimmey and it helps you spot problems sooner. It doesn't have to be show room condition, just clean.
