So the inevitable finally happened... after 130k of hard miles something in the transmission went ... first gear engages but won't move the truck ...p.s its an auto trans ... should be a fun day

Actually you would do a lot for the board if you could do a complete write up and detailed pics of the rebuild, especially for the guys with auto's

By the way it's nice to know that you will tackle this yourself and save $1,000 or more.

4 ever_....i actually bought a totally rebuilt trany from a company called american carz out in AZ...there really friendly and not to mention there throwing in a stage 2 torque converter for 160$

all I really have to do is take mine out and throw this one up...not much to wright up

Dammmm its only been 8 months with this trany !!! .. I would not go through them again though.. My trany had a huge dent in the pan when I got it causing the pan to weep and leak... Guess what they "wouldn't cover"...... so now I fill my trany every week or soo.. Untill I can fix it
