Default new 4x4 issue

i have swapped the transfer case shift motor for one that works. all my lights work, but with the truck on the lift the front tires won't spin. what am i missing.
could it be the hubs and how do i check to see if they are working and is there a another shift motor that engages the hubs.

What year is your truck? If you had manual hubs, you'd know to engage them, so I'm assuming you have auto hubs, and auto hubs are prone to fail.

well do you have manual hubs or automatic hubs? i'd say your hubs are shot... cause one tire should be turning since its open diff? or did ya put something in the front?

Sounds like you've got auto hubs since ya asked if there was a motor that engaged em haha. just convert em over to manual hubs, save ya lots of heartache, and you can just leave the hubs turned in, just make sure you have oil in the front diff, it won't hurt a thing.
