Default help with four-wheel drive

Hello. It is so that I'm new on the forum.
I need help with something. it is so that when I put in four-wheel drive so it does not go in, but it starts to smack at the front right what could be wrong

Check your hubs...have them both locked in. Put your transfer case in 4 LO or 4 HI.

I currently have this problem and assume its my auto hubs. I got the Warn manual's, but they are under my christmas tree looking nice haha

its more than likely the auto hubs, its a very common issue with them. youll like those Warn hubs.

Had a similar problem with mine, BUT my truck is a 1998 with the Pulse Vacuum Hubs. Here is what I did,,, ALL of my vac hose looked good, but something was "plugged" up at the hubs probably from rust. I found this on line, instead of buying the manual lock outs, this is free and does the same thing. Literally took me 15 minutes to do!! Supposed to work on the PVH hubs only for years 1998-2000. I guess it works for the the Exploders {Explorers} too. Here is the link.....
