Default 4WD Low Reverse for 6 feet then nothing

Here is my issue:

Problem 1:
I was driving my vehicle on the road and felt a bump, but the road was smooth!
I realized it was the engine or transmission. It is a random bump, but a bump none the less - feels like the transmission is going into gear hard. The problem is that it happens on cruise control as well driving at a constant speed - 40, 47, 50, 60, etc. Transmission or Engine? - No warning lights or indication of other problems at this point! Please read on......

Problem 2:
I placed my vehicle in 4WD Hi while in Park; placed to transmission to drive, nothing! - The 4WD light came on the dash, but the lights on the electronic selector switch did not come on at all. I place the vehicle in Neutral, moved the selector to 4WD lo, the lights on the selector came on; I placed the vehicle in Drive and stepped on the gas. The vehicle 'slammed' into gear to get out of the icy spot - more like it ripped out of the spot! I put the vehicle in reverse and it drove for approximately 6 feet and nothing. Tires NOT spinning and engine revving - Disengaged??? I put the car in Drive and it moved, reverse again and nothing.
Placed the transmission in Neutral, moved to 4WD Hi and, now, could move in Drive or reverse. Additionally my 4WD selector switch lights were all working now! WTF?!?!?!

Problem 3:
I check the transmission fluid - full; closed the hood door - it kind of slammed and now my SRS light flashes after my engine starts and then stays on. This happened before and I cannot remember what I did to fix it.
BTW, I tried to turn off the passenger Air bag and the OFF light will not stay lit - what gives?

Should I just take it to the dealer? I have to ability to do some troubleshooting - BTW, I have a MemoScan CAN OBDII reader and it gives no error codes. I cannot see any visible signs of transmission fluid leaks.

Any help would be appreciated!
