Default Transmission leak

Howdy all.

I have a 1994 Ranger 2wd with a 5 speed that has developed a leak somewhere towards the rear of the transmission. Dripping pretty good on the garage floor. Are there any suggestions or is it just marking its territory?

Thanks,
Mike

Default Re: Transmission leak

Update on the leak..I took to a local mechanic who told me the transmission needs to be removed and split? Apparently their is a gasket that leaks after time? I was told to expect 8 hours plus parts.

Does this sound right and reasonable?
