HOWEVER, i dont know what year the 7.7 or the 8.8 are, all i know is the mustang 8.8 came from an 89 5.0gt fox body
it's 7.5 n 8.8 ....'85 mustangs and up had 8.8 and yes your correct on the 5 lug conversion for a stang, the chunk on a ranger is offset, one axles is longer than the other..
