Default anyone doing a hydralic clutch check this

i just learned the hardway and plunked down 530$ at an aamco to install a slave cylinder.. i replaced the clutch and pressure plate and throwout bearing and pilot bearing and a new flywheel-- i put everything together and the clutch slipped in every gear. i couldnt figure it out and working under a 96 ranger on ramps is no fun.. u need a lift to make life a whole lot easier..youll also need a pilot bearing removal tool,an impact gun to remove the old flywheel and an air ratchet to get the bolts loose. long story short there are cheap clutches on the internet and perfection has a cheap flywheel and u can buy the clutch resovoir master cylinder and slave cylinder for 180$ pre-filled which is the move if i ever get another ranger and have to do this again..any questions let me know

This sounds weird. Did you need to replace your flywheel and pressure plate? If they're not scored/scratched they should be fine and you only need to replace the clutch disc. Sounds like your slave cylinder was bad. Those can be replaced for $55. If you're gonna replace everything in the bell housing, you might as well replace the slave.
