Default A4LD strange issue

Hi all, new here. I recently bought a 93 XLT 4.0 4x4 with 130k miles. Have driven it for a week now and Has rough shifting into R/D from park. was checking everything underneath today and came across a rotten vacuum line on the driver side of the trans above the linkage. I wiggled it to make sure it was still connected. about 10 min later i noticed trans fluid pouring out of the top of the fill tube. this was after starting the truck and moving it across the parking lot. i've never seen this happen before. to the best of my knowledge it has not leaked any fluid since i bought it, and no fluids have been added.
