Default Welding up spider gears?

Prolly a dumb question but was wondering if welding up the spider gears would be okay for daily driving or is it just smarter to get a locker?

Not really for daily driving due to the amount of turns you make. It would be a better idea to get a electric locker so when you are driving on the street you can disengage it and when offroad re engage it.

If you are looking for more traction just get a L/S from Summit Racing.
