Default what tire size

hey guys this is my first day and first post. i just bought a 97 ranger and i have a set of 35x12.50x15 wrangler mtr . i was wondering if the axles can handle that size ?. i had an 07 ranger on 33s and it worked great but im not sure about 35s on a 97 though thanx.

What gears do the axles have?

I wouldnt worry so much the axle but the front spindle may be weak

TTB suspension, no spindles.

7.5 axle--> dont push to much more than 33s no matter what gear
8.8 31 spline --> 33s maybe 35s if geared right
and the 8.8 with the higher spline count can handle 35s fairly well
and 9 inch and up your golden.

i dont have one yet but i want to do a leveling kit and 3" body lift i should clear 35 s with that . i hope

I think the 35's will fit, but you'll rub with even minor flexing. There are guys with double lifted Rangers (both suspension and body lifts) that manage to get 35's to rub.

ya ill probably get a 4" suspension lift next summer . but i have the tires so ill just have to manage for now i guess. i have no $ for another set lol

Hey guys need some help too, have a 02ranger 2wd, procom MT,33's, 5" body/suspension K&N Air filter II, so any body think that i should up grade my gear, and if so, what gear
should i used.
