Tranny problems

the point of this thread is to see if any one else is or had the same problems im having. my tranny shifts hard going into second gear and when i switch into reverse is takes about 5 seconds for reverse to engage. has any had this problem and had it fixed? if so what was the cause and how much did it cost to have it fixed?

Mine is 3rd gear and the exact same in reverse. I had the tranny pan seal re-done and the filter kit and all that and it got better. Seems once it only does it when it cold, not warmed up now

really nothing, the place that did it for me is a towing agency that tows for the PD I work for. So I detailed 2 cars for him in trade.

Mine just likes to shift hard between second and third and has a bit of a whine. It went away when I got the fluid changed a month ago, but now it's back.

i think mine has recently been flushed...my fluid is clean and looks new

that's not a good way to test it out. BUT it's a lot of fun.....until you hit the governer...blech..

I have had mine at 110 and it still wanted to go! Seems like after i punched it a few times it was better shifting

I just wanted to see how fast it would go after the double lift. It handled well surprisingly!
