98+ rangers have a one-peice driveline that will fit the older rangers... i.e. go find a junkyard that has, by looks of your signature, a driveline from a 98+ ext. cab 2wd ranger and you'll be good. its really easy to put in, thats what i did with my ranger, helped out TONS!
just gotta look out for the flanges on either side of the driveline to make sure they will still bolt up to your flanges on your tranny and rearend... otherwise you'll have to get either new flanges for tranny/rearend or get custom u-joints for the driveline to fit the old flanges.
