Default Brake Issues

I have a 2001 Ford Ranger 4x4. I'm having some brake issues. When I get to the last few miles an hour of me stopping, it feels like the ABS is kicking in. Can't really figure out what it is. It doesnt bring up a code, or the ABS light isnt on. Can anyone give me some tips on what to look for? Please and thank you!!

How old are your brakes?

Pads and rotors I meant. The local parts store told me that a caliper could be sticking, causing it to do that.

It might be something as simple as the pads. Sometimes if your pads are worn way down and not providing the proper stopping power, the ABS will compensate.

Does the steering wheel shake and viberate? if so it may be warped rotors.
