Hi,
We have a new to us 2006 4x4. Taking it out this afternoon we went into 4 hi and 4 low now it will not come out of 4 low. Any suggestions?

Throw her in Netrual and try to switch it out. Thats how I fixed mine when it got stuck in 4Low

Tried neutral, reverse, forward......still on 4 low

put it in neutral and hold the brake till u hear it click. then go to reverse then to drive.

4wd is like a condom. i'd rather have it and not need it rather tan needing it and not having it!

you must be stopped, with your foot on the brake with trans in neutral to shift in and out of 4 Low

And if that doesn't work, banging on the transfer case with a tire iron sometimes convinces it to shift.
