his is a 06 fx4 level II with 4.10 gears same as mine only mine is a 03

well that would be hard it's on jack stands lol and my rear end is blown lol loooooooong story so it wont be for afew and stuff but i know from before that it was hot an the reason it is blown is cuz the guy who did my bearings did them wrong didn't tell me and i went to the sand dunes for some offroading

dang how do you know he did your bearings wrong, and so are you having to pay for it all to? I figured if he did your bearings wrong you would have been able to figure it out and tell before your entire rear destroyed itself

well the pinion is sticking out of the carrier about an inch my truck is sponsered so it is all payed for this time and it started clicking thats how i knew

nope left the original bearing and sleeve in just tryed to do my best to get the nut back on exactly where it originally was at. thats what I read most people doing and honestly the new sleeve and bearing was to much for me to accomplish. think I should take it somewhere and have them redo the seal and new crush sleeve and bearings just to make sure I dont ruin my gears?

well this kinda thing if u don't know how to do it can bite u in a ass alot so if it were me i would if u find a good shop they will take it apart and see if it is done right.

so what do i need to have them do and like say to them. put in new seal and crush sleeve. check n make sure the bearings are still good and reset the bearing preload?

what i had a shop do was open up the diff look to see what i needed and make sure it was ok if u are really worried about this than u should have a shop redo the seal and crush sleeve if it is bad it will take out ur bearings

it willtake out the bearings cuz if the seal is wrong it will leak water into the diff and destroy the diff
