Default Vibration at 40 to 45 MPH

I have a bad vibration that feels like someone is shaking the truck from side to side. Its ok until around 40 to 45 mph and then its really noticable but goes away for the most part above 50 until you get to 70 where it vibrates again.

OK, so im at my wits ends trying to find this damn vibration. At first I thought I had a bad wheel or tire. I have replaced two wheels and one tire and still have the same vibration. I also replaced the rear end (not because of the vibration) and its still there. I have all new upper and lower ball joints as well as new tie rod ends both inner and outer. I dont feel any play in the driveshaft but thats what a lot of people are telling me. I have the steel driveshaft and have thought about getting the aluminum one but any suggestions from anyone that has similiar vibrations would be greatly appreciated.

Truck is a 2001 Ranger 4X4 with the 4.0 and automatic

Check the tires to make sure that they are not out of round. I have the same problem...tires are not round!

Did you ever found what was causing that vibration? Because my truck does the same exact thing and i've replaced the same parts as you to with no luck...

Wow, way to necro-post an old thread!

If your vibration is speed dependent, check anything that rotates. Including drums/rotors.
