Default 85 ford ranger 4x4 driveshaft questions

ok I just picked up this ranger and the rear driveline was out I've never seen this type with centering yoke the ball is worn out and their is a bunch of twisted up metal that I can not even tell where it went when I pulled the u joint and took the centering yoke off can anyone tell me if that yoke attaches to the shaft with something or does it just get held in with the u joint attached to the half yoke it looks as though these worn out metal pieces that came apart with it might have been some kind of collar or something holding the centering yoke to the shaft but I have no idea can please someone help me
