Hello - I have a 97 with Warn locking hubs. I was told NOT to run with the transfer case in 4h or 4l without the hubs locked in as damage will occur. The Ford Op. manual also says this, why? In the winter or when on forestry roads I will run with the hubs locked in and transfer case in 2 wd. and go into 4wd when needed. Is this causing damage? I just recently heard some noises coming from my hubs and haven't had a chance to look at it yet- what should I be looking for? Thanks Guys! Phil
