Default Moaning sound while coasting

2002 Edge with 3.0 4x4:

A low "moan" is the best I can describe it (in 2WD) - it appears to happen while coasting. I can not pin-point any clear location of this sound. I'm hoping it's just a wheel bearing and not the transfer case. Any diagnostic tips?

thanks

I've been getting a moaning noise at idle from the air cleaner housing.

The filter doesn't look bad, but may be, I suppose.

The transfer case is making a clicking, when I try to put it into 4WD, like a solenoid...

Is there a woman in the truck? That normally causes a lot of noises and/or moaning.

Said the same thing in the last thread, 101, here.

But it looks like an IAC is an Idle Air Control. Need to look into that...

Do yo have a limited slip differential? It might be time to change the differential fluid.

Turned out to be a broken spider gear in the rear.
