Tranny slipping after flush - Page 2

I'm worried about the results that might come ,after the pan is removed.Can A band adjustment be made externally? What type of Scanner or code reader ,would "pull" these codes? I know I gotta spend some "dinero" here$$,but just like most,Need a economical decision soon.Or it's "Possum" for Dinner!

No "noticeable slippage,except my 02 Ranger 4X4 Off Road XLT 3.0V6 with 5R55r?,seems? to shift from 1st right to 3rd or 4th.I got a quote for "pulling the O/D light off" flashing,for $98! However they said if they check the code,they can't release the vehicle ,unless they do the repair? Wassup wit dat? Thanks

Spaces?,Between Sentences? I've BEEN tyoping according to the way a Keyboard works! If you're NOT seeing the spaces,I don't know what?,you're seeing?

There is spaces here between sentences ,MIKE?Unless you're receiving something else,I don't have a clue what I'm doing or what you're seeing? NEVER EVER,had this come up since I built this Computer!You a Transmission Tech? I need some Tranny advice.Not an English Grammar Instructor! Thanks anyway I don't see what you're referring to?

Easy there, just trying to make it easier for us to help you no need to get upset.

As far as the band adjustment, you'll need to open up the transmission to do it. You mentioned doing a flush, was this a power flush or a drain and fill?

If it was a drain and fill, not all the old fluid has been cleaned out and a couple more drain and fills would be needed to clean out all the old stuff with some driving in between to get the transmission to go through all the gears.

Even then, it might take a bit for the wet clutches in the transmission to absorb the good fluid.

Sorry bout that! I have no way to tell besides looking at the Posts,etc.,to see how my sentences are showing up? Are they OK? I haven't typed any other way! Don't know if it's a problem with my PC typing or what? Don't mean to offend anyone.Just a Frustrated Truck owner,and my "Lifeline",to the Road is "broke"! My last resort.here wit yoose folks! I get so much help here! It can "Make or Break" me! Thanks for your input though! I don't know what the sentences are doing on your end?

Haven't done a recent flush.I suppose I need to "pull" the codes first(O/D light off flashing)?Thats about $100,don't wanna waste that $$ on Fluid that may not need it ,till I get the code read.I had it flushed at Ford dealer many "moons" ago.Only drive less then 100 miles a month too! My brother suggested cleaning my MAF sensor too! Just would like to know if anyone knows the Torx T-Proof screw size? I don't have a set.So I thought I'd try EVERYTHING besides pulling the pan ,etc.,first?Thanks for your inputs,No offence intended.

That's pretty low mileage, any idea how many miles it's been since your last flush and what type of flush it was? The general rule of thumb for transmissions is 30,000 miles to keep things running properly. It's been said that if people followed that rule, tranmission shops would be out of business.

The MAF might work, sorry no idea on the torx size though. Those T-Proof torx fasteners are pain in the butt.

As far as what I see concerning your posts, it looks like the words are all run together no matter if I use the computer at work or at home.
