Default 5 speed manual transmission seal replacement

Hi.
Since I am having to remove the 5 speed trans on my 94 Ranger to replace the clutch, I have already seen that the fluid in the transmission was low. With it's age, I think it would be a good idea to replace the input and output seals on the trans.

So, I've always used National seals on the industrial products I've dealt with. I would assume that they would be good for this. Anyone have any input on that?

Also, how much of a job is it to replace them? Any tips on doing so?

Thanks.

Yes. Or motorcraft. Be sure to replace the rubber shift rail plugs with 5/8" freeze plugs.
