Unhappy Head scratcher, loss of clutch after leafspring replacement. 2000 xlt 4x4 6cyl

So my mains broke and I changed the leafspring, finished up and took it for a ride only to findout there was almost no clutch disengagement, just enough to switch gears. I've bled the slave and checked the master for air, both seem good. The driveshaft spline into the 4x4 transfer case is good and moving lots of clean grease. But still no improvement. ??
