Default Explorer vs Ranger axle yoke size difference

So im buying an explorer 8.8 to swap into my 2005 2.3 Ford ranger and was wondering if I'll run into any issues. The perches are already on top, but the shock tabs are missing so I was wondering what size or if there's any mounts to buy so I can just weld them on and what size they are. Now he mentioned something about if my yoke doesn't mount up, it's because it requires a 4.5 inch yoke to bolt up. is that what size mine is stock?
