Angry no bleed , no go , must tow

My nemesis , " Uncle Funky " has his fingers all over my '94 2.3l 5spd !
Air got into that notorious clutch system and I have had no luck bleeding it out which means that I can no longer get it into gear with the engine running. I have tried several of the ' quick tricks ' that are posted online with no luck and I am not about to tear the whole thing out to bleed it upside down ! Has anyone had success with bleeding the master in its normal position by removing retainer snap ring and pulling piston up until air and fluid escape , then pushing it back into place to accomplish an effective purge of cylinder ?
I am beginning to think that I am not going to successfully get this thing bled which brings me to my next question : If I tow it with a tow bar will that damage the power steering system , and is there anything I can do to prevent possible damage ?
…………. thanks for any consideration of my questions …………..

Replace the slave cylinder and clutch since you have to drop the transmission.

I would just pop the master out and bleed it upside down while on the truck. It takes more time to remove the stuff on the driver side of the truck than it does to bleed it.

Just crack the bleeder, push the rod in (while upside down) and then have your buddy close said bleeder. Do it 3-4 times. Shit'll buff

Towing with a tow bar won't hurt the power steering. I'm surprised to hear that there is still someone out there besides me that has a tow bar.
