Default Problem with brake pedal on 2002 Ford Ranger 2WD

Hey guys

I looked for "Brakes" thread, couldnt find so Im hoping I can get answer here. I have 02 Ford Ranger 2wd 4 cylinder 259,000 miles 5 speed
I noticed my brake pedal feeling funny (lack of better word) When I got home an parked I pushed down on pedal n it sounded like vacuum was leaking, I heard this in cab..After pumping a few different times the noise went away, but would come back.
So my question is Anyone have problem like this? Better anyone know what might be going on? Theres no fluid leaks M.cylinder is full. Anyone know what fitting is that vac hose connects to on booster? Could it be that? Im lost

Any help be appreciated

Dennis

With that amount of miles its most likely the power booster bladder is bad.
