Arrow Transmission question

I have a 1993 4x4 five speed ranger, i know someone wanting to sell a 1994 two wheel drive ranger for parts, its also a five speed....will i be able to use the transmission out of the two wheel drive on my 4x4?

It depends on the engine if I'm not mistaken.
I.e 4 cylinder trans wont work on a V6.

man i wouldnt think so cuz a 4x4 mabey some parts outta it gears n bands n such.

look at the tail end of your transmission if you see that the back end has a part that bolts on then you should be able to just take that off and bolt on your transfer case i belive and as far as manuals go they used the same basic transmission on all the engines i belive its just the bell housings that where diffrent so i dont see why you couldnt do it

it depends on two factors. the case needs to have a bolt on tail-housing where you can remove it and replace it with your transfer case, and it also has to have the right bell-housing. the 4cyl bell-housings are not the same as the 6cyl. if everything matches up then your good.
