Hello all. I need a little more room behind my steering wheel. I have considered replacing the seats, but after looking over my interior...I think adding tilt steering is the best solution. I just need a couple more inches under the steering wheel.

My question is this: What is the easiest way to add tilt steering to my Ranger? Is it something I can do myself? My truck is a 2003 Ranger Edge 4X4 with the 4.0 V6.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Aaron

only thing i can think of is try and find an 03 ranger with a tilt wheel in a junkyard

I have 3 tilt steering columns complete,and they are 2001-2005 if you want one, figure your shipping out, and i will send it free, you pay shipping, also it has the wheel and controls if applicable to your desired specifications, i have 2 guys coming down form Arizona and sanfrancisco to get on, lmk asap

Just find a ranger with tilt steering and swap over the whole column

yep, column swap would be the easiest. i use a mustang tilt unit and put it on my ranger column. but that's pretty involved.
