Stuck in four wheel drive
I have a 2011 4x4 v-6 and auto trans. I put the truck in 4 wheel low to pull a tree stump out and now the transfer case is stuck in 4 wheel drive. also the auto trans now only shifts up tow or three gears. Whats up? Is there an easy fix?
1. Turning the rotary dial on the dash does nothing. 2. Putting the truck in reverse and backing up does nothing. 3. Disconnecting the battery for about a minute does nothing. Any help?

Did you put the transmission in neutral before trying to shift back to 2wd high? 4low is not shift on the fly, trans needs to be in natural. And the transmission will not go into overdrive in 4 low so you only get 3 gears no matter what.

Dirtman, thanks for the suggestion. I just tried your "fix" and it works!!! This forum is the best. I had never used 4 low before so just another learning experience for me. Thanks again.
