My front CV boots are ripped and damaged and have seen the glue clamp on replacements.Has anyone bought a pair and tried them and do they work or just another waste of money.Your opinion? Thanks

I’ve never used them and seen mixed results with them. Some have great success and others bot so much. Worth a try I suppose. Just make sure the surface on the ends that get bonded together are good and clean with no residue before you glue it together.

I see them as a temporary fix since I've never seen them last more than a year. But they are usually cheap enough that it doesn't matter. Just keep a close eye on them and replace them asap when they come apart (which they will).

You can get new axles for 40 bucks. Not as easy to toss on, but way more reliable.

Thanks, that's what I was a thinking. Never seen yet, a glue that sooner or later didn't fail.

A while back I did snap on Boots, both sides, worked ok but to me it is not a long term fix.
If you plan on replacing the Boot and/or Axles sooner than later, they should work ok.
It is getting warmer, but where you live it won't get hot enough to affect the glue.
