Default still no 4x4 working

So i'm running a live axle on my 2000 Ford Ranger,3.0 , 4x4 5 speed. One morning I switched to 4x4 and nothing, no lights except the regular blinking.I have replaced the 4x4 dial, the transfer case control module, and now the 4x4 shift motor and 3 fuses, I under the hood and 2 on the side of the dashboard. Does anyone have any other ideas ?

I might have slowed down and done some diagnosing before throwing parts at it. You have the vacuum hubs if I am remembering correctly. And they can be very troublesome. I would have gone there first before all the parts...

Let’s break this down:
- A ton of new parts
- 4wd still not engaging; dash lights blinking

If the dash lights are blinking, some component isn’t getting the signal. Time to bust out the Ohm meter and start prodding.

Alternatively, the components may be receiving the signal and a mechanical component is stuck. I’d pull of the shift motor and turn the selector to see if it moves freely.

I’m thinking you have an issue with the wiring or the 4wd module.
