Default Mustang disk brake conversion

I know there are write ups, I've read them thoroughly in the past.

My question is, what have those that have done it did for your parking brakes? I hear they just fit right in place of the mustang cables.

I'm not doing this because I want to, more so because I have to. I dont know how I managed to do it, but I twisted the backing plate on my drum system. My passenger rear brake now hangs up, and it's not safe. I've got the parts to do the swap, just need new lines, pads and some time.
