Default Clutch issue has me stumped

i have a 2000 ranger 3.0 with 5-speed transmission, had the clutch disc fail about a month ago due to leaking slave that i put off due to not wanting to drop the trans at the time. i have replaced my entire clutch system, disc, pressure plate combo from LUK (07-140), bought the entire hydraulic system (twice because i messed up the master the first time) and have bled the system 7 ways to sunday but cannot for the life of me figure out why the system wont even go into gear at this point. i know that the slave has plenty of travel and that the hydraulic system is bled properly, all the components are correctly installed ( have torn it apart and redone it 3 times to make sure everything was done correctly) if you can figure out what i am missing please speak up

have thrown a link to 4 videos i took yesterday to show my issue and the throw-out travel, 2 vids are engine off, 2 are truck running.

That seems more than enough travel on the clutch. I would take another look at the gear linkage...

Your levers inside the tranny are not lined up. Pull the shifter and then the stub and use a big screwdriver to line the 3 levers up inside the tranny, then reinstall the stub and the shifter. 10 minute fix.

Did you get your flywheel resurfaced?

If so, you need to compensate for the different thickness with the appropriate shim to ensure proper clutch operation....just a thought.

Short of that, I would double check all of the part numbers of components used to make sure something wasn't substituted.

I don't think that's it. Unless I misread his post. The OP is saying he can't move the shifter at all. My guess is he couldn't get the shifter detached from the stub(simple but weird bolt) in the tranny so he just removed the bolts holding in the stub and removed everything. The only issue is that the tranny needs to be in neutral when the stub is removed otherwise when you reinstall it it will be stuck in gear (hey ask me how I know this ) Again, if it's not in neutral and you reinstall the stub without lining up the shift levers then the shifter will not move at all. It will be stuck in gear even with the engine off.

The shifter moves as can be seen in vids, but it doesnt seem to be going into any gear, with engine off it acts normal but when you start the engine it refuses to go into any gear

Did you at any time in the repair pull the shift stub out of the tranny?

I looked at 4 or 5 vids didn't see shifter in any. I'll go back and watch again

I think I looked at all 16 vids. I didn't see a vid with the shifter in it. Only vids of pressure plate moving.

This is what the shift stub looks like. It's held in with bushings. When you remove it you can see inside the tranny like the 2nd pic shows. DID YOU AT ANY POINT REMOVE THE SHIFT STUB?

I agree, does look like more then enough travel. These clutch master cylinders are suppose to be bleed outside of the truck.

All I could see in 4 vids was of the slave working, if in fact the shifter is in, and will move through all 5 forward and rev when the engine is dead, its possible that the pilot bearing got damaged the first time the trans was installed, and is locking the input shaft to the crankshaft.

Shifter was pulled and a shifter rebuild kit went in while trans was out, just fixed the video links, hadnt noticed it was duplicated for just 1 of the 4 videos.

Pull the stub and make sure the 3 levers are lined up in neutral then reinstall stub. I bet your issue has something to do with the stub/shifter being pulled.
