Default Need help with inpropper drive axle / ujoint removal install

I was getting a vibration so i checked out the ujoints and sure enough they had play in them so i decided to replace both of them, i just removed the drive shaft with out marking anything be ause i was told that i didnt have too because this truck is just a single drive axle 4x2 so anyway here i am a week later with the same vibration again and with bad ujoints
my question is was i wrong to just remove shaft without marking and now i have something screwed up (is there a way to make this right again) before i put new ujoints in again

thankyou for your help

New u-joints don't wear out that fast.Pull the drive shaft again and check that the u-joints are free and installed correctly and check for a bent front yoke.Check for rust at the diff mounting u-bolts.The drive shaft is balanced by it self so it doesn't matter which way it's installed just that it's installed correct.

Replaced front U joint
Didnt mark anything first time and now the second time
2nd Ujoint has been in for a week now and no vibrations.
Mechanic said there was no need to mark a single shaft unit because its the shaft itself that is weighted, whole different ball game with double shafts and or 4x4 units
