Transmission cooler - yay or nay?
Hey all, looking to buy a boat to tow behind my 2003 xlt 4.0 v6 2wd ranger.
I've seen a couple posts about the same topic and it looks I have an auxiliary cooler in front of my radiator, but some have said a bigger/better/newer cooler would be best.
I want to do the right thing to prolong my truck, but I also can't seem to find any videos or resources that make me confident enough to just do it anyway. The transmission is not something I want to mess up.
I'm already planning on changing the fluid and filter and thought while I was at it I could maybe do this too.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be awesome, thanks!!
