As far as other parts, I am going to put in new CV axles while he has it apart to do the hub assembly's. The hubs have 100K miles on them and I am getting a squeak/light grinding noise out of the front passenger side. I'm at 190K on the original CV axles so since I'm not 100% sure its the hub and not the CV's I will swap them out as well. I am getting close to borrowed time on them. My land is back up in the middle of nowhere and a breakdown out there would mean a tow truck might not be able to get to me. So changing out some parts a little early is a million times better than being a minute to late.

Fully understand, I travel out and away from civilization as often as I can, some times more than others and nothing worse than not being able to even limp home. If and when Nye County gets off its hands about the drilling of wells on open land again, I may entertain buying some property again myself. NOT looking to buy a 100 acres of land if I cant get water rights or dig a well tho.

If it were me, i'd do it while I was in there just to have it done. Nothing worse than going way out of your way to have to fix something, only to skip a step, that drives the cost far up and beyond the price it should have been.. # doingworktwice
