Default u joints...

2010 2.3 stick reg cab XL 234 thousand miles.

It is getting a vibration at 60mph and i think i should replace the u joints just because of the mileage and take it from there.

Are all 4 sides of the ends of the u joints the same diameter?

Both tranny side and differential side the same?

Is there a correct orientation on the ujoint?

Are greasable ones weaker because of less metal?

What brand is best? And yes i know to mark everything before removal.

Vibration at 60 is more likely to be a tire out of balance or out of round. In my experience drive shaft related problems are worse at 40 to 45 mph.

I agree, sounds more like a Tire out of balance or a slightly bent rim.

I tried to shake driveshaft by u joint to see if it had movement and it is solid at both ends.

I think you guys are right and i think the issue is the tires. I went 23k miles on new tires without rotation and i think 2 of those tires are trashed uneven up and down wear.

I will buy a jack and rotatem myself on the next new set every 5k.

Im thinking on going to LT235 75 15 TOYO OPEN COUNTRY AT TO RESTORE ACCELERATION FROM 30S CUrrently.
