Default Axle half-Shaft upgrades front & rear...

Been slowly pouring through Mitchell, G2, Yukon, Warn (no longer available at all), other axle kits and I've come across very little or nothing. Either they have some stuff and don't list it because... I dunno, Ranger!

Anyone have suggestions on available parts like chromoly upgrades, front inners/outers for 8.8 and TTB 93-97 Setups? I do plan on adding Dana 44 stubby knuckles to the Dana 35 setup.

Will it matter if I change the gearing from 3:73 to 4:56 or a 4:88 or is the ring & pinion independent from that thought?

So my guess is everyone just drops a Explorer 31 spline setup in and thats considered bullet proofing the drive train..?

i think there's better to be had. Continue in my research or build it..!

Pretty much. Lol.

I would think an 8.8 would be plenty strong enough. Plus, theres a pretty decent aftermarket for them.

As far as the TTB, I have no clue beyond the d35.

Im also not aware of any bolt-on alternatives to the bw1354 tcase. Im on my second 1354, but the first ones failure was more user error than anything else.

Since then I have found some upgrades through some researching further on another level. Will post some links when i get a chance to figure out a few things. was told they even have upgrades for the 7.5 but with the easy swaps of 8.8 both in 28 and 31 splines I dont know if many would do that unless of some [odd] need or stipulation..

Most people would swap at least a 28 spline 8.8 if not go all the way to a 31 spline providing it was the gearing they wanted at least for an upgrade..

My 3.08 gear killed me when I threw 33's on.
