Default Transmission Conversions!

Hey guys, and gals, I have my 2002 Ranger Thunderbolt that has one primary problem... It's and Automatic... Anyone have any suggestions, tips, tricks, offers, anything for me regarding this topic? I want to do a conversion, and I will most likely do it myself with the help of some friends who have experience in the assembly field of this. Please tell me any good brands, or little things to throw in there to make her really worth the money. Thanks everyone!

Still more to come...

Default Re: Transmission Conversions!

I'm planning the same thing on my 04 during a build, I'll let you know how it goes, if you haven't done it first.
'04 3.0 xlt: thrown rod = dead.
Planned mods: 5.0 swap (got the donor already, it's nardly), 4/5 suspension drop(DONE), traction bars, 8.8swap, 3.55's w/LS . Auto to Manual conversion. Lots more in the works.
