5 speed stuck in gear

86 ford ranger five speed. tranny does not want to go into any gear other than fifth or reverse. pulling it home yesterday it seemed like the clutch might be stuck in a gear cause i had to hold the clutch pedal down the whole way to the house. i made a short video of it and put it on youtube. can anybody offer some advice.

Does the clutch still disengage when pressing it down?
I had a similar problem with the 5th gear sticking due to some incompatible fluid in the tranny causing the synchro to expand. The clutch would disengage just fine but was jammed in 5th. Almost had to park along the hwy when it popped out of gear and left it in 4th for the rest of the trip.

Shift forks could be broken or bent, 5th and reverse are on a different shaft then 1-4 if I remember right. If you pull the trans on top of it is a plate that you can unbolt that the shift forks are connected to if you pull that plate off you will be able to see your gears and see how bad it is, if it was just the clutch when the trucks parked/not running you would be able to shift threw the gears I know this because my slave cyl went out and my clutch would not disengage so everytime Id stop Id have to turn off the truck put it in 1st and use the started to go it was intense, but I would pull the trans and take that plate off And give it a good look, could have lost fluid over time threw the rubber plugs on that plate and it just got to hot and melted together, I was told by a trans tech replace this plugs with brass freeze plugs because it was common for trannys to burn up cus of it leaking threw the worn out rubber plugs. Idk if that helps at all I kinda rambled
