Default What size front disc brakes do I have?
Hey Guys,
I know I'm new to this forums but I have search and looked through the 4cyl general tech and done searches but I cannot find the answer to my questions. What size are my front disc brakes on 1999 Ranger 4cyl 2wd reg cab with short bed (the narrow one with wheels sticking out)....also if you guys buy your parts online what website do you use? I've been looking on autopartswarehouse but they have about 32 different results for front disc brakes....

You should have the 10.28inch diameter front rotors.

Use rockauto.com they are the best and there are usually 5-10% discounts online for your orders to make them even cheaper!!

okay, I have searched and gone through threads. I have a 98 Ranger and will need to replace the front brakes soon. before I do that I thought I would see if I can go with larger brakes easily. my truck is a 4.0 4x4 5spd Manual do I already have the largest brakes that will fit or is there something else I can bump up to without a lot of expense.

Can you see the brake caliper through the wheel? If so, how much room is there between the caliper and the wheel? That will give you an idea what you can do.

I can'r see too well I have early ranger wheels on it with the tiny holes
