So recently my tranny seems to have died. Putting it into second it lurches and grinds while in gear. Fourth gear grinds before it takes. Third and fifth will hum and "grind" while in gear. Third will fall out from time to time.

Is it the slave or the tranny itself?

Sounds bad, in gear like driving or putting it in gear

Both. Extremely hard to get in and once its in it grinds and lurches

Id say you need new trans then and while you have it out do clutch and slave

The slave is only 6 months old. So hopefully I dont need to do that. I can only find a tranny for 800 and the clutch isnt that expensive so i dont mind doing that. Ill look into it tomorrow more. Thanks for the input
