Yours has a yoke? I didn't think the front driveshafts had a slip yoke, rather a cup type u joint/yoke.

just a clunk sound well maybe not really a clunk but it is more like if I am shifting gears upshift the from hubs are locked , my old Dodge 4x4 would do that when I was in 4high like there is slack when I would shift kind of like when I push the clutch in the front wheel would slow down slightly causing the the front drive shaft slack to take up that 1/2 inch of slack, I hope that I am explaining this better

ok Sorry for the Necro of my Post but now I have a clicking sound drivers side ( o4 ranger 4x4) never noticed it until now it is warmer at night I drive with windows open and notice it when driving over 70KM/h it gets worse when turning right so I am guessing it is Hub or bearing and also maybe that is where the clunk is coming from? I also read that I cannot just replace the bearing and that I have to replace the hub is that is the case which type does my truck have ? and what is the round about cost of a hub?
