Default Finaly rear disks

Well went to the juck yard friday and got lucky they had a 95 mustang gt that no one had took the rear end out of yet so i got the rear disk off of it. got all the parts for 60.00. went home and cleaned it all up and gave it a nice coat of black paint.. saturday i went and tour the drums off and pitched that juck i was so ready to get rid of em things. install was quite simple. gotta get ss brake lines but the stockers will do for the mean time. the only hard part of the swap was geting that durn parking brake cable hooked in.

This mod is on my short list.

Rear disc brakes make a huge difference.

When I put the Explorer axle under my old Bronco II, it was amazing how much better it stopped with the Explorer 10" drums vs. the stock 9" drums. Once I swapped the disc brakes on the Explorer axle, I was shocked. It cut my 60-0 stopping distance by at least 20-30'.

Yeah, difference in stopping a trailer with and Expo disc break axle v.s. stopping a trailer with stock drums out back is HUGE! I gotta do this mod soon.
